VSP Names Warren Meyer VP of Laboratory Operations

Industry veteran brings over three decades of experience to new position
Rancho Cordova, CA, January 14, 2009 – VSP® today announced that Warren Meyer has been hired as vice president of laboratory operations. Meyer will oversee the operations of VSP’s four wholly-owned optical laboratories including: VSP Labs in Sacramento, Calif. and Columbus, Ohio as well as Legends 4.0 in Lewisville, Texas and Ultra Lens in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Additionally, Meyer will participate in directing ophthalmic purchasing, quality assurance and technology efforts across VSP’s lab network.

Meyer has been involved in the optical lab industry for more than thirty-six years. As an entrepreneur, he co-founded CustomEyes in 1989 and Perfect Optics in 2006. Meyer also served as vice president of operations for the western region of Essilor Labs from 2000-2003.
