Private Practices Qualify For Nearly $1 Million in Credits From VSP Global Loyalty

Expanded 2011 targets make it easier for providers to benefit from program
Rancho Cordova, Calif., April 12, 2011– More than 1600 VSP® practices have qualified for almost $1 million in credits collectively last year, which they can use to purchase eyewear from Marchon®/Altair® in 2011 as part of VSP GlobalSM Loyalty.
Now in its second year, the program strengthens and rewards private practices that use the products and services of VSP Global companies by returning up to 4 percent of their annual net Marchon/Altair eyewear purchases.

Because a doctor's support of our businesses helps offset operational costs allowing us to better compete and win new contracts that strengthen the flow of patients into private practices throughout the country."
Enrolled practices must meet at least two of the program’s four targets, which have been updated this year to include:
  • Have at least 25% of frames selected by VSP patients be Marchon/Altair frames
  • Submit at least 5% of your WellVision Exam® claims with an Eye Health Management® condition
  • Have an active eWebExtra Web site
  • Order at least 25 pairs of VSP Reveal® and/or UNITY lenses
Additionally, practices that meet a 40% frame selection rate are automatically part of VSP Global Loyalty Plus, making them eligible to double their dollar credits and receive up to 8% back on their annual Marchon/Altair purchases.
Practices that meet at least two target goals by the end of this year also have the option to apply their dollar credits towards purchases with any VSP Global company in 2012, including Marchon/Altair, VSP Optics Group, and Eyefinity®.
