RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif., April 22, 2020 – As part of a series of initiatives from VSP Global® to support VSP network doctors through the COVID-19 pandemic, the VSP Global Premier Program today announced it will immediately offer a live COPE-approved online continuing education (CE) series to all VSP network doctors at no cost through Premier Academy360. The three-part series, “Building Blocks For a Great Optometric Diabetes Practice,” presented by Jeffry Gerson, OD, and A. Paul Chous, OD, provides up to five qualified live credit hours, which can be completed remotely.

“Due to COVID-19, many practices remain closed or open only for essential eye care, and access to live CE training opportunities is limited with many industry events being postponed or canceled. We have accelerated new education and training opportunities, including a COPE-approved CE series eligible for live CE credits for doctors to take advantage of remotely at no cost during this challenging time,” said Michelle Skinner, VSP Global Chief Network Officer.
