VSP Optics Group Promotes Meyer to Senior Vice President of Laboratory Operations; Morris to Vice President of Lab Sales and Marketing

Rancho Cordova, Calif., May 2, 2011 – VSP Optics Group today announced that Warren Meyer has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Laboratory Operations and Ed Morris has been promoted to Vice President of Lab Sales and Marketing. Both will continue to report to Don Oakley, President of VSP Optics Group.

A veteran of the optical industry with nearly four decades experience, Meyer has served as vice president of laboratory operations for VSP Optics Group since 2009.  He co-founded CustomEyes in 1989 and Perfect Optics in 2006 and also served as vice president of operations for the western region of Essilor Labs from 2000-2003.
With nearly two decades of sales and marketing experience in the optical industry with companies such as Vistakon, 2C Optics and Rodenstock, Morris has served in several roles with VSP Optics Group since 2003.  His most recent position was director of lab sales and marketing and began his tenure with VSP Optics Group as the sales manager for VSP Labs – Columbus.
