Rancho Cordova, Calif. - February 3, 2011 – VSP® Vision Care today launched a comprehensive, integrated advertising and marketing campaign, “The VSP Effect,” designed to show potential clients how choosing a VSP vision plan improves productivity, lowers healthcare costs and increases return on investment (ROI).
 
“Our interactive campaign is designed to redefine how clients and brokers value our vision plans,” said Ken Stellmacher, Director of Client and Member Marketing for VSP Vision Care. “VSP actively encourages members to use their vision benefits because comprehensive eye exams can detect early signs of serious disease including diabetes and hypertension. Key components of the campaign include print and online advertising directing clients and brokers to an interactive microsite, vspeffect.com, where they will find:
  • a comprehensive, customizable ROI calculator where clients can estimate their savings with a VSP vision plan
  • a whitepaper showing how VSP plans provide a significant ROI
  • a brief video to help bring the message to life in a simple way
 
The second phase of the campaign, launching later this spring will feature case studies and client stories to show how VSP clients bend the trend of rising healthcare costs by increasing the number of employees receiving preventive services.
