VSP Global Announces Sponsorship with NBA Rookie of the Year Tyreke Evans

Rancho Cordova, Calif., May 3, 2010 -  VSP Global, the industry leader in the delivery of eyecare and eyewear, announced an exclusive two-year global sponsorship agreement with 2009-2010 NBA Rookie of the Year, Tyreke Evans. VSP will be the exclusive eyecare and eyewear provider for Evans, and Evans will help VSP raise awareness about eye health and other eye-related issues.

Evans plays professional basketball for the Sacramento Kings and was named Rookie of the Year last week. He’s the fourth rookie ever to average 20 points, 5 assists and 5 rebounds per game, the only others to accomplish this feat are Oscar Robertson, Michael Jordan and Lebron James.
